Greetings to All,

I pray this finds you having enjoyed the blessings of Easter. We truly have so much to celebrate in the truth that Jesus is Alive! The Faith Steps Easter Gathering of Women was an unbelievably wonderful night. We all had such a blessed time with the Lord and with one another. There were 118 women in attendance! Praise the Lord! The women who helped me put this all together have truly been a blessing to me. Every need was met exceeding beyond what I knew to ask for. How wonderful of each of you (you know who you are.) God bless you!

We had a beautiful time with our Savior as we gathered for communion in sanctuary.I can’t begin to tell you what a lasting memory that is for me. Looking out on so many faces eager to celebrate the life Christ gave for us, leading in prayer and the ordinance of His table was truly for me, beyond my ability to express. I thank the Lord for the humbling privilege of serving Him in spite of my sin and my weakness.

I am enjoying a few weeks of solitude here in my office with no speaking engagements. As you know this has been a VERY busy season for me. I am getting caught up on some things and moving ahead with others. I have a retreat to lead and enjoy with Coastal Community Church of Va. Beach. The retreat will be in Wakefield at the 4-H Conference Center there. My dear friend, Barbara Wheatley will be attending as my assistant. Please pray with us for God’s outpouring. This was a wonderful time of leadership for me last year and they have invited me to return. Pray that Barbara and I will be anointed to serve with His love, grace, and that we will have special discernment to move with His spirit.
I have an upcoming speaking engagement for Hickory Ridge Community Church’s Mother’s Day Tea. I am looking so forward to being with them. Pray that God will allow me the blessed pleasure of seeing Him touch a life.

I have an exciting opportunity to announce to you. I have linked to 2 attachments here and here to inform you of an upcoming retreat that I will host at Eastover Retreat Center. I decided this time to host a retreat at the Center rather than at the Manor House. The Center can house three times the amount of people than the Manor House and all meals are provided in the cost. The Manor House has increased their rates and I felt that God would have me open it to more people. It will be June 6th - 7th. All details are in the attachments. If you have any trouble opening the attachments please let me know and I can send you flyers. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE…KNOW THAT THE SPACE IS LIMITED (they have another group on the grounds). Make your reservations as soon as you know if you want to attend. I don’t want anyone to be disappointed!!! I promise - It WILL be a weekend to remember. It will be entirely different than the last retreat, so all are welcome!

I continue to mentor several women and ask for your prayers that my words and direction would be totally God-directed. I am also preparing more product to sell at the upcoming retreat. I need these sales to continue what God has called me to do. I have some new products that I am looking forward to telling you about in upcoming newsletters.

I am nearing the end of the Discipleship course that I have led on Sunday evenings in my church. Oh how God has moved in my life through this experience! I know that some lessons have been softer and easier to listen and absorb while others have challenged us beyond what we thought we could take. I thank Him and praise Him for every time and every way that He has spoken to me and led me. Oh what a savior!

Please pray also for me throughout this next week. I still must do my taxes and that is a burden hanging over me. I have the figures all ready, just need to do it. I also ask that you pray for an unspoken need of one whom I have mentored. I ask for God’s divine intervention. I ask for healing for another friend who is fighting cancer, and I pray for one who is in a coma and nearing her passing to Jesus’ presence. Would you join me in this prayer? Please let me know how I might add you to my prayers.
Have a blessed week.

Your Servant Sister in Christ,

Pat
